Some snippets on my background.
Born in a Bengali Brahmin Shakta (Devi) tradition family, My early life from age of 10 was shaped at the residential hostel life of Ramakrishna Mission, founded by Swami Vivekananda. Growing up in an atmosphere of devotion, discipline with monks-led strict and simple ambience left a permanent imprint on my heart.
In 2002, in my school mid teenage period, I formally took initiation in Advaita Vedanta under Srimad Swami Atmasthananda Ji Maharaj. The 15th president of Ramkrishna Math and Mission.
From Corporate Life to Spiritual Crisis
After my schooling, I walked the conventional path—Computer engineering studies through JEE under WBUT followed by a long corporate career in American MNCs. Success came easily, but inner peace did not. My inclination was always towards healing and wellness.
Despite the routines of modern life, a quiet longing for truth stayed alive.
Seeking deeper alignment, I enrolled in the Bihar School of Yoga, immersing myself in traditional yoga and tantric meditation.
This experience rekindled the inner fire that had dimmed under corporate pressures. I still teach and follow a lot of aspects of their teachings.
Encounter With Modern Spirituality
Being naturally curious, I wandered through various spiritual and wellness systems, I observed a troubling trend:
ancient sciences being repackaged, commercialized, and sold as quick fixes rather than digging deeper in authentic process.
I was raised in an ashram amid nature and greenery with love and kindness. Post school life hit me hard. This created a deep disillusionment in me.
Not with the sacred sciences — but with their presentation.
I stepped back and chose to seek authenticity at the roots. I stepped away from Hinduism into Vajrayāna (Tantric) tradition of Buddhism, which developed within Mahayana Buddhism.
Reiki — The Bridge Between Ancient Energy and Modern Healing
A major turning point came in 2010 when I was trained in authentic Usui Reiki in Kolkata.
To my surprise, Reiki wasn’t a modern gimmick — it resonated profoundly with Vedic concepts like Brahman – and pranic flow. My learnings at Bihar school of Yoga helped me connect the dots quickly.
Through years of disciplined practice, I attained:
- Mastership & Grand-mastership in Usui Reiki (2018)
- Karuna Reiki Certification
- Kundalini Reiki Certification
Moving to Vaishnavism
Later, I integrated Reiki with Yoga and my Vaishnava practices — accepting Srimati Radharani as my Istha, as directed by my Guru Srila Ananta Das Babaji Maharaj . I have been a practicing Vaishnava ever since 2012.
Helping Others: Free Guidance and Deeper Realization
On my free platform — raganugaprembhakti.wordpress.com — I began counselling sincere seekers without charging any money since 2014 and in offline mode from 2012 along with my corporate job.
A recurring question kept appearing:

I faced the same mystery myself after relocating from Kolkata to Bengaluru — spiritual effort increased, yet inner clarity decreased.
Something deeper was influencing the mind.

I eventually discovered what most seekers completely overlook:
Space affects consciousness.
Your environment influences your mind more than you realize.
My “Vastu-compliant” apartment had serious hidden defects that gradually destabilized me and my family:
- meditation weakened,
- concentration slipped,
- emotional balance deteriorated,
- physical vitality dropped,
- clarity evaporated.
- conflicts increased.
- Professional challanges.
Once I began applying authentic Vedic Vastu, supported by astrology and prakriti , everything began shifting:
- meditation deepened again,
- emotional stability returned,
- health improved,
- life regained rhythm.
- Cravings for travelling and retreats reduced as I felt peace in my home.
This opened my eyes to a truth:
Healing needs integrated alignment:
Inner (prakriti) + Outer (Cosmic) + Intermediate (Home).
Why I Do What I Do
I am not a guru. Even though my Reiki lineage as Grandmaster has permitted me to give attunements as a guru, I choose not to.
I do not offer paid “attunements” as a product. If a person wishes to deepen their practice, I share customized Reiki self-attunement techniques at no cost and guide them on how to integrate these with their personal mantra sadhana and meditation routine.
